Michael Brown & Edgar Kunz Poetry Reading – March 10th

A longtime resident of the Bronx, Michael Brown studies at Bard at Brooklyn Public Library. He has received fellowships from Brooklyn Poets and Poetry by the Sea, and his poems have appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, The Hopkins Review, American Chordata, and elsewhere. He currently works at the Schomburg Center’s Manuscript and Rare Books Division in Harlem.

Edgar Kunz is a writer from New England and author of the poetry collection Tap Out (Mariner/Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). He is a 2017 National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellow and a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. His work was featured recently by U.S. Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith in her podcast The Slowdown. He lives in Baltimore where he teaches at Goucher College and in the MFA program at Salve Regina University.
