While driving his “Poemobile” Walter Skold of Freeport, Maine, has completed a three-month road trip visiting the graves of 150 poets in 23 states. The visits included some sleepovers with poetry readings by Skold. Skold is the founder of Dead Poets Society and said that “it’s not really a morbid project but rather a way to honor our literary forebearers and to historically resurrect their works.”
