Alison Pelegrin is the author of three poetry collections, most recently Big Muddy River of Stars (2007) and Hurricane Party (2011), both from the University of Akron Press. She is the recipient of a creative writing fellowship from the NEA. Her poem “Pantoum of the Endless Hurricane Debris” won the 2011 Erskine J. Poetry Prize.
