Charles Rafferty was awarded the Robinson Jeffers Tor House Prize for Poetry in 1999. He is the author of Where the Glories of April Lead (Mitki/Mitki, 2001) and The Man on the Tower (Arkansas, 1995), winner of the 1994 Arkansas Poetry Award.
