Tyrone Williams teaches literature and theory at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the author of three books of poetry, c.c. (Krupskaya, 2002), On Spec (Omnidawn, 2008) and The Hero Project of the Century (Backwaters, 2009), and several chapbooks including Futures, Elections (Dos Madres, 2004) and Musique Noir (Overhere, 2006).
