Tsipi Keller was born in Prague, raised in Israel, and has lived in the U.S. since 1974. She translated Dan Pagis’s Last Poems (The Quarterly Review of Literature, 1993) and Irit Katzir’s And I Wrote Poems (Carmel, Israel, 2000). Her novels, Jackpot (2004) and Retelling (2006), were published by Spuyten Duyvil. Forthcoming in 2008 are Elsa, a novel (Spuyten Duyvil), and Contemporary Hebrew Poetry (SUNY), an anthology she compiled and translated.
