Rafael Campo teaches and practices internal medicine at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His most recent books include Diva (Duke University Press, 2000), a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in poetry; Landscape with Human Figure (Duke University Press, 2002), winner of the Gold Medal from ForeWord for the best book of poetry published by an independent press; and The Healing Art: A Doctor�s Black Bag of Poetry, (Norton, 2003), new essays on poetry and healing.
