Sean O’Leary of Liverpool has set Gerard Manley Hopkins’ poetry to music in a double album entitled ‘The Alchemist’. The album has been gaining attention from both poets and academics in England and America. O’Leary said he was moved when he heard Hopkins’ poems and was inspired to put them to music.
