Nance Van Winckel’s fourth collection of poetry is Beside Ourselves (Miami, 2003). She has received two NEA Poetry Fellowships and has published three books of short fiction, most recently Curtain Creek Farm (Persea, 2000). She teaches in the MFA programs at Eastern Washington University and Vermont College. Her poetry appears in Smartish Pace, Issue 12.
