Vivian Shipley, Editor of Connecticut Review, is the author of nine books of poetry, including Fair Haven (Negative Capability, 2000), a Pulitzer Prize nominee, and Down of Hawk (Sow�s Ear, 2001). She has won numerous awards, including the Charter Oak Review Poetry Prize from the University of Connecticut, the Marble Faun Award for Poetry from the William Faulkner Society, and the Lucille Medwick Award from The Poetry Society of America.
