Kevin Prufer is Editor of both Pleiades: A Journal of New Writing and The New Young American Poets (Southern Illinois, 2000). He is the author of two books of poems: The Finger Bone (Carnegie Mellon, 2002) and Strange Wood (LSU, 1998), winner of the 1997 Winthrop Prize; and teaches in the creative writing program at Central Missouri State University.
