Alicia Ostriker, twice nominated for a National Book Award, is the author of ten volumes of poetry, most recently The Volcano Sequence (Pittsburgh, 2002). In 2000, the University of Michigan published her book Dancing at the Devil�s Party: Essays on Poetry, Politics and the Erotic. She teaches English and Creative Writing at Rutgers University. (2003)
