Brigitte Oleschinski was born in 1955 in Cologne, Germany, and lives in Berlin. She has published two volumes of poetry and three volumes of essays, most recently Argo Cargo (Verlag Das Wunderhorn, Heidelberg, 2003), which includes a CD. Her new poetry collection, Geisterstr�mung {Spirit Stream], which includes the poems published here, will be published by DuMont (Cologne) next fall. (2004)
