Nathaniel Mackey is a Chancellor of The Academy of American Poets and Editor of Hambone. He has written seven books of poetry, including Whatsaid Serif (City Lights, 1998); Song of the Andoumboulou: 18-20 (Moving Parts, 1994); and Eroding Witness (Illinois, 1986), which was selected for the National Poetry Series. He is the co-editor of American Poetry: The Twentieth Century (Library of America, 2000) and Moment�s Notice: Jazz in Poetry and Prose (Coffeehouse, 1993). Strick: Song of the Andoumboulou 16-25, a CD recording of poems read with musical accompaniment, was released in 1995. (2002)
