Desmond Kon Zhicheng-Mingde has edited twelve books and co-produced three audio books on ethnography, journalism, poetry and creative nonfiction. Trained in publishing at Stanford University, with an MTS in theology from Harvard University and an MFA from the University of Notre Dame, he is an interdisciplinary artist whose ceramic pieces are housed in museums and collections worldwide. His poem “Button Under the Couch at 20 Maresfield Gardens” received Third Prize in the 2011 Erskine J. Poetry Prize. [updated 2012]
