David Keplinger has been awarded the T.S. Eliot Prize, fellowships from the NEA, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the SOROS Foundation. His third book, The Prayers of Others, will appear from New Issues in the fall of 2006. His translated collection of the poetry of Carsten Rene Nielsen, World Cut Out with Crooked Scissors (New Issues) is forthcoming in 2007. His poetry appears in Smartish Pace, Issue 13.
