Laura Kasischke has published seven collections of poetry, most recently Lilies Without (Ausable, 2007) and six novels including The Life Before Her Eyes (Harvest, 2002) which was made into a film in 2008. She lives in Chelsea, Michigan, and teaches at the University of Michigan. Her poetry appears in Smartish Pace, Issue 16 (2009).
