Nicole Cooley is the author of two books of poetry: Resurrection (LSU, 1996), winner of the 1995 Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets, and The Afflicted Girl (LSU, 2004). She has been awarded a �Discovery�/The Nation Award and an NEA. (2006)
