David Citino is Professor of English and Creative Writing at Ohio State University. He is the author of numerous books of poetry including, most recently, The Book of Appassionata: Collected Poems (OSU Press, 1998), Broken Symmetry (OSU Press, 1997), which was chosen as a Notable Book of 1997 by the National Book Critics Circle, and The Weight of the Heart (Princeton, NJ: Quarterly Review of Literature Poetry Series, 1996).
