Poetry magazine, founded in Chicago by Harriet Monroe, celebrates its centennial anniversary in October with the publication of The Open Door: 100 Poems, 100 Years of Poetry Magazine (University of Chicago Press, $20), edited by Don Share and Christian Wiman.
