The British Broadcasting Corporation is hosting an internet poll where you can vote for your favorite poet. The 30 poet list was compiled in consultation with the Poetry Society and the Arts Council and includes poets from Simon Armitage to Benjamin Zephaniah. The list includes the living – Wendy Cope, Roger McGough, Seamus Heaney, Carol Ann Duffy – and the dead. There’s also lots of cool audio and video related to each poet.
