The Smartish Pace Issue 16 release party is tonight, Fri. May 15, 2009 (8pm), at Cyclops in Baltimore. Poetry, Music, Food and Drinks.
Readings by Matt Anserello, Lucy Biederman, Maggie Glover, Reginald Harris, Alex Irvine, Aaron Poochigian and Mark Wisniewski. Music by Pree, I Am Unanimous! and Scout. Doors: 8 PM; Readings: 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM and between bands. A joint bash with our friends from Barrelhouse, the first-rate kick-ass DC literary magazine. $10 includes the new Smartish Pace or Barrelhouse & all the beer & merriment you can stomach. (yes, Free Beer & Wine for 21+) All-ages event–everyone is welcome! This event is free for SP subscribers.
