Poet Deborah Digges died yesterday (Friday night) at the McGuirk Alumni Stadium at the University of Massachusetts, in what police are calling a suicide. She was the author of four books of poetry including Rough Music, winner of the 1996 Kingsley Tufts Award. Digges was a professor of English at Tufts University.
