Yakich, Mark
Mark Yakich is the author of Unrelated Individuals Forming a Group Waiting to Cross (Penguin, 2004), a winner of the The Naional Poetry Series, and The Making of Collateral Beauty (Tupelo, 2006). His next poetry collection, The Importance of Peeling Potatoes in Ukraine (Penguin, 2008), includes the poems in this issue. He is Associate Professor of English at Loyola University, New Orleans. Yao, Bro.
Bro. Yao (Hoke S. Glover III) was co-owner of Karibu Books and is a professor at Bowie State University. His work has appeared in numerous publications including African American Review, Crab Orchard Review, Obsidian III and Smartish Pace Issue 14 where his poem "City" was a Finalist for the Erskine J. Yenser, Stephen
Stephen Yenser is the author of The Fire in All Things (LSU, 1993), which was selected by Richard Howard for the 1992 Walt Whitman Award. His honors include a “Discovery”/The Nation Award, two Fulbright teaching fellowships, and the B. F. Connors Prize for Poetry from The Paris Review. With J.D. McClatchy, Mr. Yenser is editing James Merrill’s Collected Poems and Selected Letters. (2002)
